About Us
Squeak By is a 70ft (20m) long x 6ft 10in wide, narrowboat boat built by Black Prince in 2007. She is fitted with an Isuzu 42 diesel inboard engine and has 8 berths. She is a Black Prince built narrowboat with 8 berths comprising 3 cabins which each have a double bed which can be converted into two single beds and a dinette that converts to a double, a shower cubicle, two pump out toilets, Beko washing machine and dryer.
Supplied with electricity through a newly installed 1020w solar system backed up by twin alternators managed through Victron controllers and supported by 3 X 100ah lithium batteries and a starter battery; there is enough power on board for all possible needs. The lounge is heated by a highly efficient log burner and the remainder of the boat is heated by radiators using an Eberspracher heater.
